Privacy Policy and Use of Cookies on the konferencja-mti.com Website

This document concerns the processing and protection of personal data of Users in connection with their use of the konferencja-mti.com website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

In particular, it takes appropriate measures to protect their personal data and applies suitable organisational and technical safeguards to prevent third parties from interfering with Users’ privacy. Our activities are aimed at ensuring that Users enjoy an appropriate level of security in accordance with applicable law, including:

Definitions:

II. Data Collection

When a User accesses the Website, we store HTTP requests sent to the server. The resources viewed are identified by URLs, and the collected information may include:

the public IP address of the end device from which the request was sent;
the name of the User’s device – identified via the HTTP protocol, where technically possible;
the User’s name provided during the authorisation process;
the time the request was received;
the first line of the HTTP request;
the HTTP response status code;
the amount of data sent by the server;
the URL of the website previously visited by the User (the so-called referrer link), where the User accessed the Website via an external link;
information about the User’s web browser;
information about errors occurring during HTTP transactions.

The data listed above is not associated with specific individuals browsing the Website.

V. Use of Cookies

In accordance with Article 173 of the Act of 16 July 2004 – Telecommunications Law, the Website uses Cookies, which constitute IT data, in particular text files, stored on the User’s end device. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the period for which they are stored on the end device, and a unique identifier.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

facilitating the User’s use of the Website while browsing;
recognising the User when the User’s device reconnects to the Website after Cookies have previously been stored on that device;
creating statistics that help us understand how Users use the Website, thereby enabling us to improve its structure and content;
